I don't really know what to put here. It seems common to list your professional acheivements, which I guess is fair, since most people landing here are probably here for professional reasons. So, if you are here for that, this is what I care about:

  • I care about the internet. In fact, I love the internet. There is elegance in the fact I can make a website from my home in Boulder, CO and have it instantly and freely available to anyone in the world. Thanks to this infatuation, I've spent the past 5 years making web apps, and I still love it.
  • I love things that are visual, including websites. In fact, you are viewing what is probably the 100th interation of this site and I'm sure it will not be the last. I love making sure things look great, but unfortunately I'm still developing my craft and my taste is far better than my ability to execute.
  • I've spent the past 2.5 years caring a whole bunch about crypto. My favorite thing about crypto is it's interoperability. I'm also a huge Nouns stan.
  • AI scares me. Maybe I'm a luddite?? For this reason, I've been studying AI safety for the past few months. I don't like the feeling of sitting on the sideline while I genuinely believe the world is going to change in a big way, and a way that is maybe not so positive. I'm not sure what I can do, but I'm trying to figure it out.
  • My most endorsed skill on LinkedIn is "joke telling".
  • I take pride in my work but I equally take pride in having non-professional hobbies. My most frequented hobby is running. Living in Boulder Colorado has afforded me a wealth of trails to explore and I love spending time trail running or scrambling up peaks.

Thanks for reading. I love making internet friends, so please send me an email if you want to chat about anything at all.
